Ingredients
- 140 g Flour
- 1/4 tsp. Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 c Butter, softened (1 stick)
- 3/8 c Sugar
- 3/8 c Brown sugar, packed
- 1 Large egg
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 baking sheets with nonstick baking mats or parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl or the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamed, 2-3 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually and gently beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop out 2-tablespoon-sized balls and arrange on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-11 minutes, until golden brown.
- When done, remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
