Ingredients
- 5 tbsp. Butter, softened
- 3/8 c Peanut butter (1/4 c + 2 tbsp), chunky
- 3 tbsp. Sugar
- 3/8 c Brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp. Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3/4 c All-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a baking sheet with silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together butter and peanut butter with a hand mixer at medium speed.
- Add white and brown sugars, cream until smooth. Mix in egg, vanilla, and milk.
- Sprinkle in baking soda and salt, then mix to combine.
- Using a spatula, slowly mix in flour. Do not over mix, stop when just combined.
- Scoop 2 tbsp of dough and roll into 1" balls. Place on the baking sheet evenly spaced apart, roughly 2" between each one. Using a fork, flatten each ball slightly, making the traditional criss cross pattern.
- Bake at 350°F for 10-13 minutes, or until the edges are turning golden and the tops are no longer glossy.
- When done, remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.
