Ingredients
- 1 Solid white tuna can, drained
- 3 tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 1 Celery stalk, large, diced
- 1 Dill pickle spear, large, diced
- 1/4 tsp. Dill
- 1/4 tsp. Parsley
- 2 pinches Salt
- Fresh ground pepper
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- Sliced bread
- Sliced pepperjack cheese
- Tomato, sliced
- Lettuce
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, pickle, salt, pepper, parsley and dill with a fork, mashing until evenly mixed. Season to taste.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. In a nonstick frying pan, heat 2 tbsp butter. Toast the bread in butter until golden and crispy.
- With the toasted side down, heap on the tuna salad. Place one slice of pepperjack cheese on each and place under a broiler until melting, 3-5 minutes.
- Complete the sandwich by topping with fresh sliced tomato, lettuce, and the other toasted slice of bread, toasted side out.
