Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c Milk
- 1 tbsp. All-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 c Sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1/3 c Parmesan ,grated
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Cayenne powder
Instructions
- In a mixing cup, thoroughly whisk the flour and milk.
- In a medium fry or sauce pan over medium heat, combine the butter and milk-flour mixture with a whisk.
- When it is hot and just starts to reduce, stir in the cheeses with a spatula until melted and consistent.
- Salt and pepper to taste, dust with cayenne powder (optional).
