Creamy Instant Pot Chicken

  • 1 Chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 1/4 tsp. Oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp. Basil, dried
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. Milk
  • 1 tbsp. Butter


  1. Place the broth, chicken, and seasonings (oregano, basil, salt, pepper, garlic powder) in the Instapot in that order.
  2. On "manual" setting, 8 minutes high pressure. Let release naturally.
  3. Remove chicken breast from pot, set aside.
  4. Set Instapot to "saute" setting and reduce leftover broth + juices to about 1/2 volume.
  5. Melt in butter, cream cheese, and milk (to help cream cheese combine).
  6. When a creamy sauce, add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Slice chicken breast into 1/4" slice, add to pot and toss to coat. Serve over sticky rice, or your own preference.
