Creamy Pesto Sauce

This goes great with homemade Pistachio Pesto

  • 1/4 c Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Pesto
  • 2 pinches Garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan, grated


  1. In a small saucepan, heat heavy whipping cream and water over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
  2. Add butter, pesto sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook about 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in parmesan cheese until just melted. Salt to taste.
