Sesame Steak Fries

  • 2 Large russet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp. Toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 3/4" wedges.
  3. Place potatoes in a bowl and fill with water to cover. Let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes and pat dry. Toss with 2 tbsp sesame oil, salt, and pepper on a rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 400°F until brown and tender, about 1 hour, stirring halfway.
  6. Drizzle with 1 tbsp sesame oil and serve.
