Ingredients
- 1/2 c Butter, softened (1 stick)
- 1/4 c Sugar
- 1 c Flour, sifted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Grease an 8x8" baking pan.
- Using a stand mixer or in a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until combined and light in color.
- Gradually stir the flour into the creamed mixture until combined. Do not over mix or work too hard.
- Spread and pat the dough into the baking pan to cover the entire surface and into the corners. Smooth and level the surface. Poke holes all over with a fork.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until just lightly browned. Be careful to not over bake. If not ready, add in only 2 minute intervals.
